Zero - Consciousness - Radical Responsibility

I've got a couple of interesting links and an observation that may relate to you. First, Joe Vitale has just released an interesting presales letter for a book about ho 'oponopono called Zero Limits. Ho 'oponopono is a Hawaiian process of introspection and healing. Simply put, Ho'oponopono means, “to make right,” or “to rectify an error.” According to the ancient Hawaiians, error arises from thoughts that are tainted by painful memories from the past. Ho'oponopono offers a way to release the energy of these painful thoughts, or errors, which cause imbalance and disease. Joe is not only an excellent writer with a stunning success record, he's long been an open promoter of combining the metaphysical, spiritual and entreprenuerial worlds. Yes, he's the same Joe Vitale in The Secret movie so this is somewhat more of the same. Except the focus here is not on how to get the car/mate/job/house of your dreams, it's how to heal yourself and others. If direct sales letters upset you, you'll want to scroll right to the bottom of the page and read an excerpt from the book. Here Joe describes how Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len used forgiveness and love to transform a ward for the criminally insane without ever visiting one patient. How? By taking the perspective that he was responsible for creating everything and everyone in the world while flowing forgiveness and love. Taking the position that we are responsible for virtually everything in our world is radical. Some may dismiss the whole thing outright. But my experiences with using the Avatar® tools led me to a different perspective. I've had numerous experiences where I turned my attention to integrating my own creations about another person or a circumstance in my life rather than blaming or pretending that I wasn't responsible for what I was experiencing. When I take responsibility for my creations, what I'm experiencing, the world changes. How can this be so? That brings up the second bit of information. I just read an amazing essay on consciousness by Dr. Paul Broks. He reviews a new book called “Seeing Red: A Study in Consciousness” by Nicholas Humphrey. I've just ordered the book but the essay by Dr. Broks gave me lots to think about just by itself. He brings in many references to the current thinking about consciousness, how it came to be, what it is, how it works, and what it means to us. Near the end of the essay he quotes Humphrey's book as follows: “According to Humphreyâ€Â¦ it is precisely this that gives consciousness its mysterious, out-of-this-world qualities, and creates the irresistible intuition of mind-body duality. Nature has performed a stupendous conjuring trick: the illusion of the soul. It is an illusion that at once creates and valorises us as conscious entities. It is thereby an adaptive illusion. Consciousness matters, says Humphrey, 'because its function is to matter. It has been designed to create in human beings a Self whose life is worth pursuing.' Even beyond death.” Please go read the entire essay as it will make this qoute even more profound as you understand the context. But here's my take on it. Each of us - our individual consciousness - creates our impression, our experience, our perception of the physical universe and everything in it. We interpret these impressions, perceptions and experiences as real. And so they are. We are created with this ability. It's evolved and is evident in all creatures from single cell beings to human beings. Consciousness is present in every cell of our bodies, being felt more directly as feelings rather than as thought. This is not a metaphysical perspective, it's one held by scientists, researchers, doctors and others not given to using spiritual woo-woo for proof. But combine this perspective with one like Dr. Hew Len's and, for me, there is a jolt of understanding that I actually am responsible for everything in my experience. Sobering? Yes, but also inspiring. I can make a difference in my world by looking inward, finding the discord/disease in myself and integrating it (stop resisting it) with forgiveness and love. The only way I know for you to truly understand this is to experience it yourself. And that's what I did in Avatar. Enjoy the links, consider the information presented as another perspective, and let me know of your experience. -a-

Hi

Did a search on Dr Len, didn't realize so many others in Zaadz were aware of him.

Dr Joe Vitale did the Foreword to my book “The Titus Concept Money For My Best and Highest Good” and Dr Hew Len also endorsed it.

They are both simply great individuals!

Their new book together is going to be an amazing book!!

Also great insights with your post.
